Motel 6 New Port Richey, FL

As per review attached booked this hotel 2 days ago only to find when I arrived what almost looked like a scene from a movie, carpark scruffy, derelict all it needed was a tumbleweed to blow across in front of my car🤣. Seriously though why let people book this property, waste people's time when it's clearly closed down. No money has been taken, hopefully it won't be although I did cancel it when I arrived there. Rebooked another hotel on the same highway.

Called and booked here. Just to drive and find it abandoned. Call back to figure it out and get indefinitely put on hold with no answer. Just hope my card doesn’t end up charged over this bullshit.

This is the worst Motel 6 experience that I have ever had. The room I was assigned to smelled of smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. The bolt on the door would not work and the bed sheets were filthy. See pics in this review. I went ahead and asked the front desk for a refund so I could stay somewhere else and they refused. Instead, I was assigned another room which was better but still dirty overall. This motel is very run down and there are a lot of characters walking outside at all hours of the night. Trash is piled up in bags next to the stairwell. I understand that Motel 6 is a budget brand but cleanliness and safety are paramount in any lodging operation.

Staff is friendly. Other guests are friendly. Pretty quiet at night and chill. Was nervous at first cause it's not too big of a place, but our experience has been real nice. The main guy at the front is always so friendly and helpful. Our family appreciates his kindness. And shout out to the laundry lady for working her butt off to make sure everyone has clean stuff.. 5/5 stars.

This hotel was absolutely garbage. If I could leave negative stars, I would . My stuff was stolen and they refused to help had an attitude about it and everything. We had to switch rooms and even buy our own fridge. Had to practically beg for a microwave. And our key cards kept messing up. Please if you can help it DO NOT waste your money here.
