Motel 6 New Boston, TX

For a Motel 6 it's not bad at all. It is updated and everything works. Bedding seems rather new and is actually comfortable. I do bring my Xbox with me to watch Netflix and such and the owner provided me with a seperate network that was good for gaming/streaming devices. He was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately the network did not bring up an authentication page on my console. As far as the room goes, mostly everything was clean. I found some dust behind the TV (most hotels seem to forget cleaning that spot) the floors needed better cleaning and I had one of my two towels covered in stains. For an overnight stay this place really isn't bad and the price is fair. I use to stay at Motel 6s often and recently have strayed away from them but this was possibly the nicest Motel 6 I seen. Gre

Safe and clean. Room was new and offered a mini fridge with small freezer so I was able to keep stuff in my cooler cold and refreeze my ice packs. There was also a microwave. The TV was new and large. Everything was clean. My two small dogs were welcome. Front desk staff was really nice and welcoming. Very quiet all night long. Easily located just off the interstate. I would stay here again.

Positive: It was clean, store and restaurants nextdoor. Negative: Hot water tank was small ran out of hot water in 5 min

I stayed here 2 nights . First night I came into the room it was clean except for the crickets but they were out side on the side walks too so they probably just came in when they were cleaning . I check out but ended up having to come back the same day because my load wasn’t ready to move. They gave me the same room which was cleaned because I know my hair was probably everywhere. The only thing is the water in the shower isn’t hot enough for me. But over all the best hotel for the budget in this town. Super nice staff (I encountered 3 of them )

The people were nice but, considering the numerous pubic hairs in the bathtub and the very dirty toilet seat, I can’t imagine the bathroom was cleaned at all. Makes me wonder what else wasn’t 😬. Also, walking into an 83 degree room is awful. And the bed was rock hard. Mom and pop places are always so much better, I think I’m done with chains altogether.
