Motel 6 Gresham, OR - Portland

We have been staying at this location off and on for about 3 months ,we switched from motel 6 portland east to this one on 12/26/2025 house keeping was in our room when nobody was in there nor even told us on 12/31/2025. We do smoke weed and had a bag of weed on the table cause it's legal. Then all of a sudden the next day on 1/1/2026 we're getting harassed about supposed smoking in the rooms when we haven't smoked in the rooms. When I re checked in on 1/1/2026 the lady told me I took the smoke detector off the wall when nobody's touched it. Then about 4 hours later the front office lady calls our room but unfortunately we didn't answer in time, she Then comes pounding on our door saying the whole hallway smells like smoke and that it's coming from our room cause that's where she " smells

Positive: I like everything about Motel 6 in Gresham. Very friendly staff, clean rooms, good beds, great location, microwave and refrigerator and competitive rates. Negative: No I enjoy all of the amenities and service.

Me and my husband have been staying here off and on and pay for our daily I like that the rooms our big that it has a bathtub and the staff are very very nice . The reason I am giving 4 stars is only because I wish there was more light in the room and I wish the bed was a little softer . But other then that overall really nice place to stay

The young kid at the counter with dark long hair is very unprofessional and lacks customer service skills severely. If possible steer clear of this place. They charge your card and tell you you cant stay after doing so. And refuse your money back. Worst experience I've ever had with motel 6. This individual shouldn't be representing any business at a front counter.

I have stayed here multiple times and turned the cheek when it came to the front desk being rude with every interaction with me, but this stay was my last. For 2 days I had no hot water. The front desk could care less. They are rude they will talk Spanish in front of you and think that you don't understand but I did. It's bad customer service ethic to do that. Period. It's unsafe here as well. Transit people hang out at the door and wait for you to open it then run in. I hope they make some changes at this location starting with firing all front desk employees.
