Motel 6 Fountain Valley, CA - Huntington Beach Area

This place was incredible! They transformed the pool area into an enclosed dog park, equipped with toys! And the rooms are immaculate, clean, stocked, and very very comfortable! The check in process was easy and everything was explained to me very clearly. There was plenty of parking and it was within walking distance of so many places! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

Around 10 am today while I was quietly taking a shower , the hotel front desk clerk Nora started knocking and pounding on my door very loudly and yelling at the top of her lungs for about five minutes . Obviously , I was not able to entertain her request as I was in the shower so I asked her nicely to give me at least 3-5 minutes to get dressed . She kept yelling and knocking on the door repeatedly until all of a sudden , she ended up at the bathroom door to my surprise with her apparently disengaging the security latch which was downright APPALLING . I was utterly shocked by this because NOT only was this rude and unacceptable but it was a downright violation of my privacy which she obviously encroached on . So I hurriedly locked the bathroom door to prevent her from barging her way i

I like this motel 6 a lot ! I love staying here. The staff are great and the rooms are always clean.

I have stayed at the motel 6 at least ten times over the past 4 months. The staff is nothing great some are better than others. The maids will start knocking on your door at 730 am and have even entered well before 11 while my husband went to get coffee and I was showering. Even despite that I enjoyed staying here never had a issue always received my deposit back to my card so it was a surprise to me that today when I went to check in I was told I was banned for smoking in the room they have photos of ashes. The issue is I don't smoke and have always got my deposit back. When I started this the lady at the front desk was rude and aggressive in her response that I didn't yet quickly realized I did in fact get my deposit back. The Motel was ok at first we actually ended up paying 10 more than the posted price and then on top of that got ripped off for 10 more dollars out of our deposit for a dirty towel! So be warned if you use their towels they will take ten bucks a towel for all the dirty ones the lady tried to say it was ruined and it wouldn't come clean but it was literally the dirt off our feet after a shower and if they would have thrown it in some bleach it would have been fine. And rather than explain the obvious to the front desk clerk I let her know how full of it she actually was in the nicest way so she didn't find bs reasons to take the other 40 dollars from us. I am Never going to go back to this unfortunate motel I've never been so disappointed in a business establishment. They should be ashamed o
