Motel 6 Conroe, TX

Had a quick turnaround for work and home is a hour away so I booked a stay here, literally 5 minutes from my job. I’m pretty sure that most people have an understanding of what a Motel 6 is and what they offer. No they do not have all the amenities and may not look the best. For the price I paid I have absolutely no complaints. It served its job! The room was actually very comfortable, clean and up to date.

Positive: The customer service clerk was nice Negative: Hotel rooms were disgusting they smelled there were roaches in the bed roaches on the walls. They were really just filthy.

Clean, friendly, helpful when we had a hiccup letting me into the room prior to the other party who made the reservation getting into the room even though they knew I was coming. So we had to cancel first reservation and I had to make a new one but thank goodness we weren't charged for two rooms. Would recommend but be sure to bring your own coffee pot because they don't have them 😭

Nightmare hotel. The positive reviews are fake, and made by the hotel management. I travel the country for work and have stayed in hundreds of hotels. This is the worst motel 6 I've stayed in due to the combination of room condition and service. The room itself should be condemned. More cockroaches than excusable for a Texas summer. Mold in the bathroom. A shower that leaks onto the floor. A toilet that doesn't flush. Dozens of cigarette burns in stained bedsheets. A poorly insulated room paired with an AC unit that is nearly hanging off of the wall, one push away from being on the floor. Stickers on the light sockets. The bedside desk was not properly secured, and damaged my belongings when I suddenly found out as it fell onto the floor. The service was very poor on top of that adding to
