Motel 6 Brinkley, AR

I was pleasantly surprised. First I pulled up next door & went into that motel & couldn’t believe they were charging $108 & told me about their complimentary breakfast that DIDN’T sound appealing so I left. I drove next door to this Super 8 and was greeted by a very nice lady. I explained their sign said $65 & up or something & I hope it’s safe. She explained it was and they have cameras & how they always have great rates. She also explained their wonderful complimentary breakfast. I got checked in, went to my room with my 8 yr old grand daughter and we walked and were pleasantly surprised. Well cleaned, smell great, towels fresh, no one hanging out and about (I drive all around first) with direct tv and the heat was working through that room so well it made it so warm & toasty. Loved it! Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable and the location was great. Nice and quiet with little to no road noise off the interstate. Would come back again. My dad was super happy because he got a smoking room complete with an ashtray. I had a non smoking room and it was the best of both worlds for us. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Its a nice spot for the price. The outside looks a little dated but the room i was in was pretty good. Plenty of parking if your in a truck. The lady at the front desk made it smooth and easy to check in.

Location was sketchy. Woke up at 3am to find bed bugs on the sheets. I went and told the owner. He refused to come look at them. He got angry and hesitantly gave me a refund and told my family we were banned. Like we would want to stay there again after that experience. Doesn’t want to address the bed bugs issue. The only good part is the location being close to the interstate. Look I don’t expect much from a hotel, but when you refuse to acknowledge you have bed bugs and don’t look at the evidence to save money. Shady awful service.

This Motel 6 wasn't bad. It is an older hotel, but my room was clean and the staff was friendly. It had it's issues but what do you expect with a $60 a night motel that takes cash? Overall, it wasn't bad. I would stay here again.
