Awesome stay. Staying for 3 nights. Room is prefect for us (dad and I). Makes our trip to Branson that much more enjoyable. Glad to be so close to everything. And the price. WOW!!! 😀🤩
Positive: updated rooms NICE NEW BATHROOMS Negative: 11am check out is tough they can only Extend to 11:30...
We booked a queen room which had two queen beds. Each bed had two pillows, that were horrible in quality. There was no comforter for warmth on the beds and most channels on the TV were unavailable to watch. Advertises free breakfast but it was a basic pot of coffee, nothing more. Will not stay here again. Staff was mildly rude upon arrival/check in and even beforehand when calling to confirm. Asking if anyone smoked, explaining they had barely enough parking, etc. there was no where to park besides by the front office when checking in. We had to carry our bags/children’s bags to he building in the back. The pictures do NOT match what you walk in to! Location was great. About 6 miles from Silver Dollar City. And because of no breakfast as advertised- McDonald’s right around the corner.
I got a clean, comfortable room for a very reasonable nightly rate. Rather Spartan furnishings, but the bed was extremely comfortable, and housekeeping came in & tidied up one of the days of my stay; the second day the housekeeper asked me if I needed any towels--I guess my negative reply to this question was interpreted as "do not enter". Still, I believe many hotels still do not offer any housekeeping services during one's stay. Front desk staff was pleasant and they offer wake up calls. If full, the parking lot is a little tight. Will probably return.
This motel had "very good reviews" on a third party booking site. It was inexpensive and we only needed a one night stay. Two stars only because ladies at the desk were nice and were able to accommodate rooms next to each other. We had two rooms. But I wouldn't return. Maybe it was just the rooms we had? They were run down. One room wreaked of cigarettes and was really musky. And the one next to it, one bed had an awful urine odor. Complaining wouldn't have gotten us anywhere because the motel was fully occupied. I could deal with the broken bathroom door or even if our TV was broken, but the urinated mattress was just gross. If you choose to stay here, request a room that isn't 230 or 231.
