Motel 6 Baraboo, WI - Lake Delton

Positive: Pet friendly and a pool. Negative: Although reviews say it's clean, my first room wasn't. The second wasn't finished being cleaned and the staff gave me attitude like I dirtied the rooms before arrival. Then last day we ran out of tissue and they refused to give us any more.

My room was perfect for a solo traveler. It appeared to be recently renovated. I liked the vinyl-type flooring (rather than carpet) and there was no boxspring on the bed - just a mattress on a wooden frame. The mattress was comfortable and there were 2 comfy pillows. Two non-upholstered chairs. Room was air-conditioned, very clean, with a microwave and refrigerator. Front desk staff were very friendly. Would stay there again.

DO NOT GO TO THESE LIARS!! i had made a reservation online (non payment til arrival) and called to ask if i could cancel , they told me to go to booking.com to have it canceled because there’s nothing they could do on their end so i did and before i even could dial the number for booking they charged my card the full price of my room . I called back and told them that it was against their “pay on arrival” policy and that they only did that because i was trying to cancel and that it was very snakey of them , Jason told me that his boss tom would not issue my money back even tho they charged me hours prior to me checking in so i called and had it canceled through booking and when i called back to confirm it was canceled jason made it difficult and kept cutting me off and telling me that it w

While the amenities (shampoo, etc) are a bit sparse, we don't mind asking for things so they can keep the costs down. We especially appreciate the free-pet stay policy. This will keep Motel 6 our first choice for our next travels. Everything was comfortable and reasonably quiet and all our requests for extras were accommodated with a smile.

It's a cheap room, but after this, won't be going to a Motel 6 again. We are halfway through a 3.5 long days road trip and just needed a place to shower and sleep. After walking by a few people (residents?) hanging out at the entrance door, check in was friendly and easy. After that, yuck. The people at the door should have been the first warning. Thought we'd get a motel room like a drive up, but were put on 2nd floor. There are Christmas decorations on a room door, like someone's there a while. The room directly accross from the one we were given also appeared to have longer term people, with the door latched open and people coming and going. We arrived late like 11 pm, and was surprised that the doors that are not the main entrance didn't lock behind you, so didn't need a key to go in
