Motel 41

Great central location for our recent UP trip thru the Keweenaw peninsula, Marquette, and Porcupine Mountains. They also have one of the best dog policies that I have found, and believe me when I tell you I shopped around - the ability to bring my dog at an affordable price is paramount. She is a member of our family, and we have a dog so she can travel with us, not sit at a boarder ♥️ Fantastic customer service, updated rooms, and comfortable beds. Only thing that could use improvement in my opinion is the thread count in the sheets. They are a little scratchy, but I am spoiled at home, so maybe it is standard. Not enough of a bother to rate any less than 5 stars. 10/10 would stay here again.

Rooms was nice. Location was good. Restaurant next door has good food n reasonable price. I liked the checking in on line n sending door code for room. Hot water took quick along time to get hot but was great once it did. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

I was traveling for work in early February - not my choice of seasons to visit the UP. Found this little place on the fly directly off the Google Maps app. Reservation was online and super simple. No-contact check in was cool, and the room was Excellent for my purpose. Not a vacation stop - just an immaculately clean place to rest, shower, and get ready for the next day’s work. So convenient!

This motel exceeded my expectations! I was taking my son back to college, which is a 9 hour drive one way, so I needed somewhere to sleep for the night before returning home. I stumbled across this motel online. It was affordable and only 30 mins away from Michigan Tech, exactly what I was looking for, so I booked it. The room looks and smells clean. The beds are very comfortable and the linens are soft. Their website says they just renovated many of the rooms and you can tell! The room has your basic amenities such as a mini fridge, microwave, a/c unit, heat, wifi, and toiletries. There was a cute little table in our room with 2 chairs so you can sit down and eat.
