Morrell Lodge at Morrell Ranch

The Morrell Lodge was a beautiful place to stay. We loved the lake and the grand porch on which to sit and enjoy it. It was fun to see the fireflies at night! The room was great and opened onto a large porch that went all around the lodge and our view looked out toward a grassy field. We explored the lake and listened to the frogs! Thank you staff for the good food and excellent service. A wonderful unique place!

We have stayed here twice in the last two months, each time with a group of friends. This is the most fantastic place! The setting is so beautiful! The lodge is amazing, and we also loved staying in the little cabins. Looking at the lake, fishing, biking, kayaking, walking around, everything is ideal! The food they made was fantastic, and they were so very willing to work with us to do anything we needed in just the way we wanted. We have stayed here as guests who were traveling, and we have used it as a place to do lectures and workshops, and each time everyone we were with thought it was the most wonderful place. They thank us for bringing them to such a great place. It is especially ideal for anyone doing LDS Church History in Missouri, and especially if you want to go to Adam Ondi Ahma

Had an absolutely wonderful week at Morrell Ranch! Such a beautiful, peaceful getaway location. Quiet, dark night skies were magical. So much to enjoy there whether you want to relax with a book while just being in nature, or plenty of activities like horseback riding, canoeing, kayaking, or paddle boarding, plus fishing, biking, and hiking. Large event building as well as an amphitheater for group functions. We loved seeing lots of wildlife too, including a resident peacock! We stayed in the main lodge, which is luxurious yet rustic, a gorgeous suite. Food service wasn’t an available option to us, but we did have access to the huge gourmet kitchen to use if we’d have wanted to. Small kitchenette was in our Suite too. Would have loved even more if there was at least a breakfast offered. A

This is our second stay. We came again because our first experience was so great! This time we brought a tour group and stayed in the lodge and the luxury cabins behind it. The natural setting was so beautiful and peaceful. The location near Adam-ondi Ahman was perfect. The customer service was stellar, welcoming and flexible to our needs. The food was delicious and right on schedule. Many details were attended to so that we felt cared for and comfortable. The Morrell Ranch experience really helped us level-up our tour experience for our guests. Thank you!!

The rooms that were finished were great, but some of them barely had four walls by the day we booked it for. Some rooms were also occupied by people that weren't supposed to be on the property, as we rented out the whole area for our stay, so even less youth had beds to sleep in.
