Morningside Camps & Cottages

Morningside has been part of our family for generations, and every time we come back it feels like a tradition we cherish more and more. The setting is incredible — with beautiful views, hiking trails, and a private beach where we’ve enjoyed evenings around the fire pit. Days are filled with canoeing, paddle boarding, or taking out the rowboats, and nights are full of laughter under the stars. On top of it all, the owners make us feel like family, which makes each visit even more special. It’s truly a place where memories stick, and we’re so grateful to continue making them here.

Great place to spend a week with your family. I like that it's mostly hands-off, leaving you to enjoy the solitude. They're great about trash pick up, and providing extra wood when needed. On top of things!

Lovely setting with friendly and helpful service. Beautiful views of trees and lake, cabins, vegetation and wildlife, including birds with loon calls through the day and night.

Absolutely magical time for kids and adults. Beautiful, quiet and romantic charm of the lake. Kids enjoy their independence exploring the islands on kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, raw boats, etc. It was so refreshing to see kids playing in nature all day long and never bored, asking for their phones/electronic devices. The cabins were clean and comfortable and the staff extremely friendly and helpful with planning hikes. It is the most charming experience I had in ages. Totally blew my mind.

My husband came as a kid with his family and brought us here for the first time in 2022 and we stayed in cabin 6. We loved it so much, we stayed an extra couple days in cabin 2. We just spent a relaxing week in cabin 7. Honestly, I never want to leave when the time comes. Can I just live here? Cabin 7 is the BEST cabin, of the 3 we’ve stayed in. The creek flowing outside, is the most peaceful sound! Beds are comfy. Cabin is stocked with everything you could need. And Dave and Randi are so kind and helpful! This place is a gem!
