Morning Star Inn & RV Park

The room was very clean and comfortable, the only thing I have to say negative is the room didn't have hot water. I had my hopes on staying for a while for work, but ended up staying do further down the road, Which the other hotel was nice as well.

We ended up driving to Anson because all the name brand hotels in Abilene were booked. Morning Star was had availability so we kept driving. Friendly customer service upon arrival. They don’t have the AAA discount, but when asked they gave us a discount on the room. The room was freshly painted in bright cheerful colors and tile floor. Immaculately clean rooms and property. Very quiet despite being close to the road. Great value for the price of the room. We will definitely stay again the next time we are up this way.

The place is good but there is something very bad about it: they tell you one price and then change it for another and take more money from you. They charged me $450, including the pet fee, and they took $632 and cents from me, and then they took $175 from me. I think I paid more than staying in a 5-star hotel.

Morning Star Inn is a great place to stay. No fluff no frills but the people are nice and the rool.s clean. The beds are comfortable. We have stayed here 4 times in the past year. The last time last night I called they had a room. Only down thi g is Anson is small, it is eather convenient store or Sonic for breakfast. They do offered coffee in the rooms.

When I got into both of my rooms that my coworker and I booked both rooms refrigerators were leaking water they weren’t very clean mesquitos and flies swerming everywhere didn’t really care for this place the give you a thin sheet for a cover no blanket, ac worked well
