Moose Inn

Very convenient to everything in spirit lake. We walked to the Linger Longer Lounge for dinner and drinks, felt very safe both directions. Great food BTW!! Slept great, woke up and walked to the Brickle Creek Coffee a block away for a cup of joe on a brisk November morning. Perfect little getaway from home. Highly recommended.

The room was well appointed and the bed was comfortable. Cute little town. BUT even though the room looked clean when we arrived by the time we were getting ready for bed we had to wash our feet because the floor was filthy! Suggest you bring some slippers! |Also an item was left in the room - recommend that you close the door when doing your double check as there is a hook behind the door! We reached out to the Inn as soon as we realized it had been left, to date there has been no response; over 10 days later. |We will opt to stay elsewhere if we are ever in the area again.

Wasn’t going to leave a review for the dirty room and hard beds but then they charged us extra $ over false accusation's. We were very clean, popped in and out on a quick night traveling and they told us we stained their towels which we clearly had not. Even if we had (which we did not) the towels are white and could easily be bleached. I worked as a housekeeper for vacation rentals for years and this is a poor excuse to charge extra $ If they needed $ for new towels this is not the way to do it. We travel to Idaho often but this will be my last stay at the moose inn.

Stayed in a supposedly handicap accessible room. However, the handicap parking was not the closest spot to the room. There was a slight rise in the door way that I had to climb over with my walker in order to get in and out. The bed was too high and even with a step stool, my husband had to help me get into it. The shower had no handrails and my husband had to go with me so I would not fall. There was no Kleenex, the outlet cover beside the bed was broke and there was a stain on one of the bar stools. The final indignity was they charged us an extra cleaning fee for towels. We asked for pictures, and it was obvious that the dirt was from the floor. Next year, we will find another place to stay.
