Moose Hillock Camping Resort

One of the best camping trips I’ve been on! Also I want to add - The sweatshirts that are sold at the gift shop are literally AMAZING!!! I am obsessed with mine, it is such good quality and I just love it! I just wanted to make a comment so it was known!

One and done for sure.|Pros: large sites with large bolders for fire pits, clean, nature trails throughout part and small pond to relax by. Pool was unique and fun. Basket hoops, volleyball net, cute playground. Watched a show that was really good and we enjoyed (though at 8 which is soooo late for kids after being at the pool all day imo)||Cons: money grabs EVERYWHERE. Resort fees, booking fees, impact fees. They wanted an additional $100 site lock at booking. Money operated showers. Husband got a simple drink in the store and paid over $5. Pool was very crowded, no one enforcing any rules. Kids cut in line for slides repetitively. Parents drinking all day in the pool with beverages. Many lounge chairs near the ship are pay/ reserve only so I couldn't watch my kids without being in the

This may be a good place, depending on what you are looking for, but not for us. If you are looking for a place that is pretty far off the beaten path and nearly twice as expensive as other locations, this could be for you. The amenities are solid for families. Pool is awesome for kids. Our power mound had challenges frequently below 104v resulting in power shut off to protect the RV. I understand why some people like the place due to size and amenities. The sites are huge, plenty of space. Fire pit was fantastic. The management was very friendly.

Went in late September. Very quiet. Great campsites! The pool was closed but looks like a lot of fun in the summer especially with the kids! Everyone working here were great and very helpful We look forward to coming back next year

Nice clean campsites, lots of space for camper and surrounded by woods. Great pool and waterslide, though no lifeguard. Lots of up charges (cabana fees, late checkout option fees, $for certain activities). There is a nice fishing pond for kids and playground, nice camp store. Spawling estate, not super well marked paths/trails for families to navigate.
