Not a 5 star hotel but ran more like an AirBNB. Very similar experience with the previous reviewer in September 2025. BEWARE! I arrived at 6 PM to check in. I booked a nonrefundable 1 night stay for $125 ($143) a few weeks in advanced. The owner tells me once I arrive he is unable to honor this rate. He states that it is $299 plus tax so I need to pay $210 more to stay the night. He gets out a calculator and says lowest he can do is just charge $175 in addition to my already paid $143. What a generous guy! He states that I need to bank transfer $400 for security deposit with 10% late fee. I did not agree to this and I walked away. ||More info: I used American Airlines hotel booking platform which uses Agoda. MooreField ruined my planned by vacation. I received messages from them after I had a paid, confirmed, non-refundable reservation. Their messages came a month after I booked-- |1. The room rate at the tibe [sic] of your booking was 179 a night plus tax. {THIS IS} lower than we have set, you are welcome to pay the difference by Zelle 24 hours before Check in.|2. Wanted to send you a message that we have no rooms available. ||Really? How much more did they want me to pay at check-in? And then there was no rooms available. On a non-refundable reservation! Their manager took no responsibility for this issue....he said I wasn't their client because I had made the reservation through booking platform. I find this very shady and a very bad way to do business.
