Moore House Cottage

As another reviewer shared, I was looking to host an intimate wedding at one of the airbnb's with inclusions of some of the additional packages that they offer. Had they been more responsive, it would have been a beautiful option. However I can't help but think I dogded a bullet because I had to send several messages back to back simply to get one or two replies. After a few more attempts of just trying to book, they completely stopped responding. It's been over 2 months and I've heard nothing. I understand that it's a family run business and certain seasons are busy, but if they aren't willing to respond when you're trying to give them money to book, I can't imagine how bad it would be after they'd secured a deposit and had no incentive to keep up communication. Cottage 29 was lovely. Beautiful, lovely views, and they had lemonade and cheese and crackers waiting inside. As another reviewer mentioned however, the company is not very responsive prior to arrival. I had written so many emails without a response that at one point I started to wonder if it’s a real business. I chalked it up to COVID problems but at these rates, a response should be expected. Once I got there, it was an idyllic New England cottage…

They aren’t very attentive to their potential renters. I was really excited to spend my wedding weekend here and host my intimate “after wedding ceremony” dinner. Unfortunately I stopped receiving responses (it has been over 2 weeks now) and prior to them stopping had to wait a week for each reply. I’m pretty bummed out because this was the only place in New England where I could truly see my vision come to life. I wish I could have given a review after actually staying there but oh well.

They answer one or two messages and then ghost you. Such a waste of time to contact them.
