Moonrise Motel

Clean with large bathroom and nice patio with partial bay views. If you’re staying in a 1 bedroom suite with more than 2 people, be aware that other than the bed, the other sleeping accommodations are just 2 uncomfortable couches. The website says the suite sleeps up to 4, but not comfortably for the rates they charge. We were unpleasantly surprised by this and had an uncomfortable stay. Great room for a couple though!

My wife and I booked a last minute overnight trip to Kismet and stumbled upon the Moonrise Motel. What a wonderful stay!!! Lilly and Amianka were exceptional hostesses, they made us feel like family! The room was great, cool and clean retro décor. It had everything you’d need, a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, mugs, dishes, etc! The Motel provides beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels which was so convenient! They even have a full fleet of bikes you can take around town! We loved our stay and will be back!!!

The Moonrise Motel was the perfect getaway! This gem is located in the heart of Kismet with a bay and marina view. I stayed here over Memorial weekend with my family and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute! The staff and management were present and incredibly accommodating, the 1 bedroom suite was spacious, spotless and had a fantastic modern and fun retro vibe! We took short walks to the beach from the Motel, enjoyed a delicious dinner at Dive and then some late night bbq in the Motel courtyard. I highly recommend this spot and plan to make it a holiday family tradition!

We had an awesome MDW at the Kismet Moonrise Motel. It was the perfect location, close to the bay and bars. The service was immaculate -the owners and manager were so accommodating and kind. The 3 bedroom was tiny, but so cute and clean - perfect for a couples trip! Looking forward to coming back. 😊
