Montrose City Campground

The site was very reasonable for water and electric. We had site 4, which was a long back-in site. There was plenty of shade and the setting was quiet and peaceful. The little town of Montrose was cute and friendly. It was a little difficult to maneuver our 42' fifth wheel into place and the site was a little unkempt. It was in great need of some mowing/weed eating and there was a lot of trash in the fire pit. For the price, it was ok for an overnight.

Clean quiet park. Stopped on cross country trip 4minutes off 90. Walk to Webbs Pub in small town of Montrose. Great food and friendly atmosphere

The campground is convenient to I90 and located in a beautiful little park in Montrose. The bathhouse is clean and centrally located. The sites are spacious. The price, which includes power, water and use of the dump station, is very reasonable. It was a perfect spot for an overnight stay for us.

Montrose Campground was a perfect spot for our one night stopover. $30 per night for W/E, easy to book on CampSpot. We were in site 14 which was level and had some shade as mentioned on CampSpot. The Vermillion River runs along the edge of the campground. We enjoyed stretching our leg with a walk along the river. After the community pool closed, the park was completely quiet—which might be my favorite feature.

Hidden Gem, all grass park, quiet, level we had 44 ft class A motorhome fit just fine. water & electric $35 night!! very quiet and clean park, lots places to walk my dog.
