Moab Cabin Rental

The cabin is perfect. For being in the high country it is completely comfortable. Simple kitchen is everything you need to enjoy a great meal, home cooked with friends. The 2 bathrooms provide space for people to have easy access when needed. The place is well kept, everything is nice and clean and you can tell John and Susie care about the experience of their guests. Then there is the property. The views are amazing. The sunsets and stars at night will leave you breathless. Even the drive up from town is cool. You truly feel as if you have stepped into the prehistoric on your way to the cabin. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to have comfort and nature rolled into an awesome property that is in the middle of all Moab has to offer. Will absolutely be back

This rustic cabin made for a very enjoyable trip for us. The secluded location is more a benefit than a drawback - as long as you plan accordingly. Town is a good 45 minutes away via a dirt road that is surprisingly well maintained, but not without holes and exposed rocks, so you'll need at a minimum a high clearance vehicle, preferably all wheel drive to get through. Be warned some of the sections of road have hair-raising drop offs, not for the faint of heart but unbelievably stunning vistas. The cabin itself is quite comfortable, with hot water, heat, and the all-important washer and dryer. I absolutely loved my stay at John's cabin with my Dad!!! The location of the cabin is unmatched in the area and the views are spectacular! The cabin includes A/C which came in handy over our stay, the satellite television was great for after biking and hiking, and the biking in the area is great because on the roads you get very little motorized traffic! The best part about it is how quiet it gets, you literally could here a pin drop! I would sincerly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quiet getaway, or anyone needing a basecamp for their adventures in Moab, Utah (being halfway between the La Sals and Moab.) Visited the cabin in October. Has everything you would want/need in a cabin. Quiet, spacious, scenic, and comfortable. Easily sleeps 6, has the comforts of home, fast wifi, yet keeps the “cabin” feel. Can’t wait to come again next year.

The cabin was within in a mile of great mountain biking trails. Had a great stay and enjoyed the peace and quiet.
