I have reviewed over 180 campgrounds in 45 states and 10 providences. Camping sites in the woods are very nice. Some hiking within this large campground. They are quite accommodating with late stay requests.

Very clean atmosphere and the camping grounds are very well kept. Staff are super friendly. Military discounts are a bonus! There’s a couple trails that are mountain bike friendly and have a couple steep decents (not long just convenient). Super kid friendly and pet friendly. Really great location and quick access to phenomenal hiking and trails.

I do not camp in an RV so my perspective is purely as a tent camper.||When did camping get so expensive?! Regardless of whether you tent or RV camp I feel that prices have really skyrocketed. Next time I will examine my options more thoroughly.| I stayed in the backcountry area recently with other family members who met me there. I will start by saying there are some features that all the tent sites seemed to have from what I saw such as a campfire ring and picnic table. What is different in

Awesome experience with my family. We tent camped and loved the place. It was convenient but still woodsy. Plenty to do, close to wineries and restaurants if that’s what you wanted. Just a quiet place to hang out. Also the on site shop was reasonably priced.

AVOID! I had a long review written out but it still didn’t cover all of our problems with this park. Suffice it to say, just avoid it if possible. If you need to stay here, do not accept site 65 or any of the neighboring sites and double check with the park that your FHU actually has water.
