Mirror Lake Bed and Breakfast LLC.

This place was great! When you stay here, you get the whole bunk house to yourself with a private lake on an old farm. There are horses nearby and a dock to watch the water. The bunk house has a gas fireplace heater for the colder months. It's about 20 minutes drive to Shipshewana. Kathy made delicious breakfast including stuffed French toast one morning. I want to go back with the kids this summer.

As you pull into the driveway you will think you are visiting a typical Midwestern farm complete with farmhouse, barns, crops, horses and lots of fresh country air.|Just past the large tree sits a beautiful little cabin which is your room with its own sitting room, large bedroom, large bathroom, kitchenette and a view of Mirror Lake.|The entire farm property is very neatly kept, showing obvious pride of ownership.|We sat on a swing and watched ospreys fishing in the lake. One osprey nest clearly visible on a high voltage tower off in the distance.|Breakfast was typical farm eating including delicious biscuits and gravey.|Our hostess was very friendly and personable.|Your drive is all on paved roads, but definitely out in the country. Worth the trip. Great value.

This place is super cool, I went there for a weekend trip. We stayed in the in the bunk house outside of the proprietor's home. The woman that runs it is super nice and makes exceptional breakfasts in the morning and keeps her house and the bunk house where you stay in really nice condition. The husband owns the farm on witch the property sits and it makes for a really good view. There is a lake right out of the back of the house. All in all the place is super nice and is a really cool atmosphere.

My husband and I stayed here a little over 3 years ago; and we STILL talk about this place! Solitude, a beautiful view from outside our cottage where we watched the sun over the water, and DELICIOUS homemade breakfast cooked by our host every morning made Mirror Lake B&B such a treat for us. Close enough to things to do when we wanted to and far enough away for us to soak in the soothing sounds of nature. Also, friendly and helpful hosts who went above to make our stay a precious one.

My wife and I would go back to Mirror Lake B&B in a heartbeat! The bunkhouse is so well done and so comfortable. The location is amazing. Kathy is a wonderful host and her breakfasts cannot be beaten. So easy to get the Shipshewana from here. We also enjoyed exploring Rome City, Wolcottville, and Ligonier.
