Mill Wheel on the Nueces - Sunshine Cottage

The cottage was perfect for my family of 5. There are dishes and pans, but you will need to bring everything else if you plan to cook. There are 2 rooms and 1rr, so it only sleeps 4. I slept on the couch. Bring an air mattress if more than 4. There was no TV or internet during our stay, but it proved to be a great opportunity for family time. Sue said they are working on getting those installed. The property has access to the Nueces river, but you will have to leave your clothes outside to dry afterwards. It wasn't an issue for us. We are the first to have stayed since covid began. It's a lovely town and Sue's cottage is a must if you want to stay in town. She owns other properties, so just ask her about it! We plan to return soon!

Small 2 bedroom house, just right for when you don't want to stay in a motel. Kitchen with appliances and dishes, so you can fix your own meals, and not have to dine out. Also has front porch sitting and a fenced back yard.

We rent out this double wide once a year for our family get-togethers. It is clean and well stocked.
