Mile-A-Way Motel

I recently spent about a week here with my fiance. While were waiting for our new apartment to open up. First I would like to say the owners are very kind and warm hearted. Treated us like family, they are such good people! I had forgotten my card in the office after paying and he called me immediately, such honesty! Nice cozy room, best hot showers ever! Great prices clean carpet, walls, restroom, sheets, pillows, fridge, and counters! The do such an amazing job at housekeeping, and your belongings will be safe for sure, very professional. When we ended up moving into our apartment I forgot a couple items at hotel and he even saved them for me. I also asked him if he had any extra blankets n he gave me a brand new fuzzy blanket for my new apartment for free!! They are such generous caring

Gotta say he place is clean/cozy. Great service from Alex. He took care of me. Price might seem high for some, but people we aren't leaving in ancient times. Even the small hotels have overhead that increase. We'll be staying here again.

If you are younger or not white, stay away from this place. Supposedly no weekly rates. Talked to two people in different rooms. They both say they are paying 280$ a week. I had to basically pay 350$ for a week. When I asked the office about it they told me to leave. I asked in a very polite way. I am convinced it was either because of our race and/or age. Should’ve seen it coming in a small racist town. No WiFi, phones in room don’t work, small bathrooms, and showers.

They are very very rude. The rooms are dirty. Yes the price is good. 50 dolla Holla. But he’s racist. He will just hang up on you, and not answer again. He is arrogant and ignorant, and they have bed bugs. The price reflects, the service, the rooms, atompshere.. and you’ll leave with bugs. Everyone drinks there and sits out all night screaming At each other ..

Great little motel, perfect for bicyclists. I was traveling by bicycle through Wisconsin and came across this little, inexpensive, gem. Small, one level, near gas stations and fast food plus a full-service restaurant just a short distance away. Friendly host, made me and by bike feel welcome. I'd stay here again. I I love finding little places like this.
