Midtown Motel (Updated 2020)

Stayed here the night of October 13th, 2025. 1. Prices were phenomenal ($72). 2. Rooms were dated, but very clean. 3. Lights, refrigerator, microwave, TV all functioned properly. 4. Had Roku for the TV, which was a pleasant surprise. 5. Water pressure for the shower was phenomenal, rest of bathroom was dated but clean. 6. Was provided adequate soap, shampoo, toilet paper, and towels. 7. Lady who worked at the front counter was very nice and professional. Overall if you are in a quick pinch, or are traveling on route 6 and need somewhere cheap to stay between Bradford and Mansfield, this is definitely the place to stay. Don't come here expecting a 3 star or more hotel experience but for the price you're paying nothing beats the Midtown Motel in Port Allegany. If I'm in the area in

we waited almost half an hour at front desk for service. tried the "if you dont see me, call this number" hotel phone was disconnected. finally got room, old unsecure metal key. flipped up sheets (always my first action) holy BEDBUG VILLAGE! run away.

Some of the past reviews of this motel clearly came before renovations were made. The room was quite large, extremely clean, the beds were comfortable, and the air conditioner did its job efficiently and quietly. We found the water pressure and temperature in the shower to be perfect. The kind woman who checked us in was friendly and welcoming. We parked right outside our door, and the location was easy to find and walkable to the small downtown. Also of note, despite the many large trucks using route 6, we slept soundly and undisturbed. The value was great, and because of that, we accepted a few nicks in the fixtures. About the only downside was that the curtains didn't fully cover the window. We kept out prting eyes with a sunshade from the car.

Great location centered on the main road in Port Allegany Pa. within walking distance to Tavern/Resurants and the rooms are very well priced and clean and on ground level which is great for motorcyclists and makes it easy to unload and load your bike and keep an eye on it at the same time which is important to bikers. Service was great "Jewel" was a great receptionist giving us insight on the best places to eat. Would definitely stay there again!

Old style mom and pop type motel in the heart of a quiet little town. Stayed in single story section. Rooms have door opening onto parking area. Was able to park motorcycle right outside of room which is important to us bikers. It's an older motel but my room was well kept and relatively clean. Washroom was in great shape with shower/tub combo. Decent showerhead and great drainage. Heat lamps in ceiling keep you warm and cumfy as you dry off. Love it! Don't find them in many places nowadays. Jewel at front desk was jovial and pleasant. No breakfast available at motel but nice diner across the street. Coffee was available in office area. Had a great sleep in the comfortable bed. I will definitely stay again in the future. Has great value pricing. Highly recommend!
