Midland Extended Stay

I've stayed at hometown studios for 2 yrs now. I have a fractured spine and hand because they would not fix a water leak in the next room that ended up flooding my room and causing me to fall which I've hired a lawyer to attend to. I don't think management even reported it to the owners. Now the manager is saying the hotel is closed and putting everyone out on the streets.

$79.80 was my total, I had to find this on the phone as I couldn't drive as far as I thought I would make it. I am usually very happy with a 49 buck, clean, Motel 6, so my standards aren't high. I took a shower first,as I was willing to forgive the nasty, ancient surroundings, since the sheets looked clean. And did I say at 1 am I was very tired? The shower control was horrid, scalded me when I was trying to adjust it. I was all clean and in pj's when I sat on the bed and it sank half way to the floor, then I notice the top is pulled about 6 inches from the wall and saw the filth, including dried dog poop along the wall behind it. And the pillows had clean cases but smelled like old man and mildew. The flip bolt was broken off and the last straw was when someone banged on my door and ran.I

Bed Bugs!! In all 3 rooms our company checked into. I was sharing a room with a co-worker but he hadn't arrived while one had stayed the night in another room before we arrived and 3rd room checking in with me. The you g girl refused to let me see the room first, we all paid, went into the room and ran out. In the matress was bed bugs in both new rooms and completely disgusting. Cabinet doors hanging off hinges, dead roaches, mud in bathroom, dirty covers with burns in them, ceiling hanging, fowl odor, etc... We got a refund immediately, the girl double charged us for our room, so we had to wait a week to get back $900+ as well as my other co-worker. We check in this hotel after our flight was cancelled due to snow storm and frost, Driving around searching for hotel isn't advisable at that time. So we tried for a night here as the location isn't far from Midland Int'l Airport about 4-5 miles away. Plus breakfast is included. We checked for suite that cost more but the heater is located inside the bedroom and living room is darn so cold. The room setting looks like a condo with large living room, fridge, and microwave. I noticed there's left over food packed in tin foil inside the fridge. So we didn't use the fridge at all. There are some small cockroaches in the toilet sink that come and go. Tables and chairs in the living room are dusty that we have to use our wipes to clean it. No problem with the bed sheet and mattress they're okay

pool was dirty and not open during the month of August! rooms were decent, floor was soaked from the ac dripping water. no phone to call the office. lots of drugs running rampant. (I was only asked once if I wanted to buy some "ICE") AFFORDABLE, But not where I want my husband to stay at again. I posted a picture of thir litter box pool, but, it said your photo will post after review. these rooms have kitchenettes, but you must provide your own dishes.... how many people carry dishes with them while traveling? and if you do, this is the place for you.
