Beautiful spot, well kept. Ideal for people that are not about comfort in the outdoors. I was nervous because of the negative reviews but my group really enjoyed our stay. The only negative comment I have is about the campers at the other group site…they kept trying to walk through our campsite. I wish there was more privacy between the two group sites.
Gross porta potties. Sketchy campers nearby. Didn’t feel safe.
Nice campsite rear the creek and close to the Reservoir that good for boat
Wouldn’t recommend for most people. Lots of mosquitos, no running water and burnt forest around. Hard to find especially given no cell reception far and wide
Quiet and secluded. Last year had water turned off for repairs, but it was still an excellent campground. There is a local swimming hole the very friendly park rangers pointed out. It is easy to get lost on your way to the site, so be prepared with a printed map, as cell reception is very spotty.
