Middle Fork Stables

Best trail ride hands down! If you’re looking for some adventure with your ride this is where it’s at. My kiddo is 13 and handled it like a boss. Bri made sure to pick the appropriate horse with the rider and gave clear instructions for each horse. Loved how personal the experience was and not a mill of turn around rides all day. Our guide Becca was also just as memorable with great conversation and relaxed vibe. We have been many places but this place is always going to stick out. Thanks for letting us visit your place and get to enjoy your precious animals!

My mom and I had such a great time on our horse ride today at Middle Fork. Bri is a wonderful guide and the horses here are just awesome!! We spent 2 hours on a beautiful and scenic trail and my mom and I truly had the best horse riding experience of all. We can’t wait to come back!

Bri was an amazing guide, we had a blast. We went all over... through the river and up and down the mountains during our 3 hour ride! The horses were gorgeous 😍 and VERY well behaved! If you are in the area and want to ride, this is the place to go! Close to the Red River Gorge and the Natural Bridge in Lee County.

We did a two hour trail ride, with beginner level experience. The owners are friendly and supportive. The horses are easy to ride and overall the experience was excellent. The land is pretty and our guide shared the history of the area as we rode. We stopped for photos, and see some of the land features more closely. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience at Middle Fork Stables! When another stable had us call back multiple days, it was great to be able to book with Middle Fork just a day in advance. She gives cheerful, understanding instruction. We'd love to come back again.
