Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Springfield

Easy to find, great location, but bed was hard, walls so thin I heard snoring throughout the night from the next room, toilet always kept coming to the top you had to hold the handle down til it went down, bathroom door had a loud squeak so at night if you went in it woke the other up. Breakfast was stale, juice machine didn’t work, and toaster didn’t brown the toast. Won’t stay again.

Finally found a clean motel at a decent price. We will stay here again. Room was very clean. Pool was refreshing. Hot tub jets only worked for a minute or so, not 15 minutes like it’s supposed to. Hot tub was cloudy with sand at the bottom of it, so it needs to be fixed/cleaned. |Breakfast area was clean with minimal choices as usual. No fridge, no microwave, no clock in our small room. It still worked great for us, it’s so hard to find clean motels nowadays. |There’s a bar & grill across the street with good food and service. We’ll stay at this hotel again.

I genuinely appreciate Raj allowing cancellation of our rooms when I booked them for the wrong night, at no cost to us. He was very helpful and friendly and took care of us. Check in to the hotel was wonderful, the front desk man was also very nice and helpful. I didn't catch his name unfortunately. ||||We checked in on our day of reservation once it was rescheduled and they were kind enough to put the two rooms we booked next to each other so I could be close to my elderly mother. Unfortunately Room 107 smells very musty when you open the door, so we opened the window and let it air out. As night fell, we didn't want the windows open anymore and once we closed them the room smelled very strongly of urine. This obviously wasn't great. Hotel also advertises that it has a fitness center, but

I enjoyed the Spa and they had a Great Waffle Machine for Breakfast. When I got there the room that they gave me the Refrigerator made a noise and they gave me another room which was perfect! I do have to say that I had a good night sleep the bed was so comfortable! The Front desk was very accommodating!

The room was big and clean, and the man who checked us in was nice. There was no coffee maker in the room, the breakfast didn't include hot food other than a waffle maker, and the jacuzzi looked old and dirty, but is probably just old and needs new paint. But it was pretty good for a hotel in a rural area and the town was cute. Altogether it was a good visit!
