Mic Mac Cove Family Campground

This place is a gem. Nothing but good things to say about the campground, its owners, and the campers. Something about it makes it special. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming year after year and that’s what keeps me coming back every year.

I had the worst experience at this campground. If you’re a family and you like to hear screaming and yelling and partying until three in the morning, then you’ll enjoy. I had kids bullying my children. And the teenager boys would steal my stuff at the campground and break it. When I spoke to the campground owner about it, She said not my problem. She was always very rude. We left the campground and never went back. The worst campground experience I’ve ever had. And we go camping every summer at a new place. My husband woke up at six in the morning to go fishing and he saw a four-year-old at the beach by herself swimming. There was a lot of violence between the teenager boys. There’s nobody that drives around making sure everybody’s OK. also was overdose while I was there. so many things

I have been going to this campground for the same weekend (Lobsterfest weekend) every year since I have been 4 years old (37 now). This campground is amazing it has some thing for every one in the family. Wether its karoke, live bands, corn hole tournaments, or inflatable bull riding competition on the lake! This is a place is amazing and I hope I get to continue to go to for another 33 years straight!

I will avoid this place in the future. If you have someone stop by for a 20 minute visit the owner charges you 5 dollars. With an attitude I might add. I had a Interaction with her at the gate where she was very condescending. She took my id and said it was because of the floods in the south. Pretty sure it had to do with the murder investigation at the campground. On top of that you will probably be disturbed by the police for a DNA test 🤣 i think I would prefer to camp at any other of the many campgrounds around. Where the owners are a little more reasonable and overall polite.

Stayed here several nights with friends recently. What a great time. Very quiet and peaceful. Spent time swimming, kayaking, fishing and cornhole tournaments. Love it. We'll be back next season.
