This campground is a beautiful campground with great amenities and super close to the lake, like about a 5min walk to the one beach. The lots are very well sized and roomy. You aren't crammed in like sardines. It is seasonal only, but sometimes they have lot rentals available at Lizzie Lake too, which is right beside Lake Metigoshe. Ken and Donna Hammel the owners, are super nice people.
This is a really nice campground! We lucked out as they usually only do seasonal campers, given that we were early in the season (early June) they gave us a spot for 3 nights. Don't assume they don't have a spot, give them a call. The ONLY downside to this campground is their signage, they don't have any so it's not easy to find.
