Meramec Motel

Hands down one of the best stays at a motel scene I've ever had! Staff was super friendly and loved to joke with us! Room was amazingly clean (thank you Glenda) and overall just surpassed my expectations of what a motel would be like on a campground!

Every year we do a float trip, stay in the motel, then do the caverns. It’s a perfect two day corporate event. But I never think the motel gets enough credit. The rooms are old fashioned but I love them. They are SUPER clean. They have a microwave and frig and just everything you really need. I highly recommend staying a night or two and taking advantage of everything they offer. The float trip is great. The caverns are amazing. Then camp fires and smores and zip lines! A nearby zoo is not to be missed.!

It is an old motel with updates. The rooms are clean and met my most basic needs. However, one of the beds in our room was absolutely terrible, there was a huge sunken spot essentially a broken bed/mattress. The mattresses were very worn, and they really need to consider replacement. The room was also damp and reeked of that old basement smell, but again the building is very old, but just be aware. Overall, it was a very affordable clean place to stay.

The Motel is old but the updates are great. Overall, it's very clean! Our bed was decent. For the price, you can't go wrong. We will be back again.

Our company stays at this motel every year! Wr do a float trip then stay and do the caverns the next day. The motel is wonderful. It’s the cleanest hotel/motel I’ve ever stayed in. They are spotless. The blackout curtains and comfortable beads and terrific showers are just perfect after a day on the river. We love it. Highly recommend!!
