Mendocino Grove

A magical place! Just off Highway 1, a million miles away from… Events here are AMAZING! Movie nights, live music. Fall Festival is not to be missed! “Tent” is not the word I would use to describe the accommodations. “Beautiful, spacious, Canvas Home” seems right! Comfy heated beds, porches for “porching” (Google it,) fire pits and Adirondack chairs, bocce ball, volleyball, sauna, walking distance to Catch a Canoe… GO HERE!

Mendocino Grove was a wonderful place for a wedding. We attended a family wedding, stayed in one of the tents, and spent the weekend in the grove. We enjoyed the facilities, the breakfast, and the proximity to the Mendocino town. Additionally, I booked a Thai Massage from Ariel which was so good that I booked a second session. The massage loosened and stretched my muscles and I walked more freely and fluidly after the massage. Even today, I move more freely. In summary, we had a great weekend at Mendocino Grove!

First time at Mendocino Grove and look forward to returning! The amenities are top-notch; everything felt new and high-end. For weekend warriors, this is a must-do approach to camping. All the fun, without all the hassle. Grab a bag with clothes, show up, and have a great weekend. The Friday night dinner with live music is great food and fun; breakfast is plentiful; order pizza to the beach for lunch and enjoy the gorgeous Mendocino coastline. The onsite yoga was a great way to kick off the morning. I look forward to checking on the sauna on a return visit. Beds were so comfortable; showers and bathrooms were clean, spacious, and very well-appointed.

Mendocino Grove is the kind of place that makes you feel both refreshed and well cared for. From the moment we arrived, the staff stood out, not only friendly and welcoming, but genuinely attentive. Danielle went above and beyond to help us with a special accommodation request, and did so with such grace and ease that it really set the tone for the rest of our stay. The grounds themselves are beautifully maintained, immaculately clean, with thoughtful touches everywhere you look. The communal fireplaces were a highlight, especially the one in the morning where guests gather over complimentary oatmeal, banana bread, and coffee. It creates this warm, communal vibe that makes the experience feel so much more than just a stay in nature. And don’t skip the outdoor showers. They are fantastic,

Super comfortable bed with a heated mattress pad, inside a spotless cabin. The bath houses were clean and bright and the grounds were beautiful. Location 5 mins from downtown Mendocino can’t be beat.
