Meinert Park Pines Campground

This Park was clean and moderate walking distance to Meinert Beach Park, if you have beach chairs you would like to take you may want to drive. The paved road through the park is a bit tight if you were to encounter another rig in some areas. You will need to purchase a Muskegan County sticker for either a day or the season in order to stay at the campground. Firewood is available at the Camp Host office. The sites have full hookups. Town is a pretty fair distance away but there is a good place to eat called The Gnarley Heffer. Walking to the beach, you will pass a private campground and also probably see some deer. My wife and I live this campground. They have full hookup and the prices are extremely reasonable. This year was our second in a row. We will be back every year! FYI...Lake Michigan Beach is only a half a mile away!

This campground is kind of a hidden gem. The lots are small but if you don’t get a middle site you are good. The middle of the campground has little privacy on the sites. We were surrounded by a whole group of people and couldn’t even use our fire pit. They had way too many people and tents on their site. The WiFi only worked Thursday night into Friday. Over the weekend there was no WiFi or service. This is obviously totally fine for camping but my husband needed to do something for work and was not able to. Showers were clean and staff was super nice. Would definitely come back.

Cute little camp ground right near a beach park. Mostly RV spots but you can set a tent up on them. As a tent camper it would have been useful to have an awning that stood up on its own as there was not enough trees on my site for an awning to be out up on the trees as I typically do.

Great place to take the family camping. Sites are a little small but they are level and clean. Lots of full hookup sites. Facilities are clean. Short 5 minute walk to the beach. Lake Michigan........ that's all you need to know! And while you are there, don't miss the opportunity to swing by Mac's Meats in nearby Rothbury MI for anything meat or one of their gigantic donuts or fritters. 😋
