Medix Run Lodges and Cabins

Hi! I wanted to share with y’all. Thank you for allowing me to stay at your trout lodge. I’m going to refer y’all to everyone who asks where I stayed. I stayed with my dad for my elk hunt. I can’t thank you all enough. I did write in your journal to share my brief story. I know hunting isn’t for everyone but for me it’s a tradition and I had my best hunting buddy with me. My 78 year old dad. He just sent me a photo of your chapel that I will share. A bit about the place, I stayed upstairs and my father stayed on the main level. It was the perfect place for a family to stay. Easy ramp access into the lodge. Our lodge had a full kitchen, table, covered porch, a lot of things we didn’t utilize but will next time when we come. My out of town family from Rochester, New York, stayed at Bear lodge and White tail lodge at Medix run lodges. They were guests at my wedding, which was held at Little Chapel in the Woods. It was so nice to have the lodging so close to the chapel. The owners, John and Liz were absolutely wonderful. My family loved the cabins, and the general store. The cabins were clean and well maintained. John and Liz were very welcoming, personable and accommodating. My family absolutely loved their stay and are saving money for another visit soon. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. A big thank you to John and Liz for everything you do.

We had a great week. Stayed in Eagle. Clean, quiet and private. There aren’t maybe people like the owners of this property. They are wonderful. Enjoyed the hot tub and relaxing on the deck listening to the sounds of quiet. We will be back in June.

I can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed my visit at Medix Run. The lodge I rented was just wonderful. Love the screened in back porch and balcony and the fire pit. My friend and I actually cooked a steak dinner over the fire while we were there. It’s surrounded by woods and it’s just wonderfully quiet. John and Liz were awesome hosts and were there if we needed anything. I am planning to go back in the future for another wonderful weekend.

Our family stayed in the Eagle cabin for 4 days. It was convenient, private and quiet. The owners were very friendly and accommodating with any needs. They have a store there for our convenience in case you forget anything. John provided the best directions and the location was right in the heart of everything! We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you for your hospitality! And I can’t forget that we had our own private hot tub!
