Was lucky to get a spot but one.of the nicest sites we have been in the US. Cell service with Verizon is good for calls and work. Montana residents sometimes stay free.
had the whole campground to myself when i was here. sacred place to the sioux, this is where Sitting Bull had his vision of soldiers ‘falling into camp’ during his sundance here just before Battle of the little big horn. Also crazy horse was said to have signed his name a lightning bolt over a horse on an owl shaped rock formation here. this is a sacred place, please treat it accordingly

Internet says 16 day maximum stay. Fish and Wildlife came by and said it was a 7 day maximum.
