Meadows Inn Bed & Breakfast

My Daughter and I enjoy a yearly weekend getaway to celebrate her November birthday. This is our second stay at this wonderful B&B. The home is cozy and charming. It's not a fancy feel in any way which is what we enjoy. It's like home away from home and so NICE!! Ruth is an amazing host. Everything from booking to checking out and in between was perfect. Our breakfast was delicious and our conversations with Ruth was like talking to a friend we have know forever. The location of this B&B is just a few miles to Shipshewana. We will definitely be coming back to stay again!!

We were looking for a reasonably priced place to stay near Shipshewana for our “girls getaway road trip”. My husband and I like to stay in B&Bs when we travel, but my friend had never stayed in one before. What a great first experience for her! And honestly one of the best experiences I have had as well!||The property is located right on a main road, but there really is no issue with noise. It’s a very peaceful property with horses and barns. It butts up to a golf course in the back so the scenery is beautiful.||The room was very nice with everything you could possibly need. Very homey and comfortable. It’s a beautiful old farmhouse that has been redone. The front sunroom is bright and welcoming, and this is where Ruth serves her incredible Amish-quality breakfasts. We have stayed with Ruth three different times now and we enjoy are stay every time. Ruth is great she makes wonderful breakfasts, and enjoy her company. We would not stay anywhere else.. Thanks Ruth for an amazing time every time we visit. Look forward to seeing you in April.

We have stayed at Meadows Inn several times now. We love this B&B. Location is great....walking distance to the downtown shops and restaurants, and also to the waterfront. The rooms are extremely comfortable, and the breakfast is always amazing. We travel to New Bern often and we will never stay anywhere else. It's a wonderful place. Linda and her staff are so warm and welcoming. Highly recommend!

This is a late review, we 3 stayed at the Meadows Apri 4-7. It was a great stay! Two of us shared the Bern Bear Suite and it was a wonderful 2 bedroom with a roomy shared bath accommodation. My room was spacious, 2 queen beds and lots of light from 2 dormers. The other room, also 2 dormers and a queen with a door adjoining the bath. There was, in addition, a large sitting room with chairs, couch, mini fridge, and coffee maker. Loved the suite. The Palace was the other room and it was quite beautiful. Breakfasts, different every day, began with lovely individual fruit dishes followed by a hearty breakfast with sausage or bacon. All home-made in the kitchen! Location couldn't have been better.
