Meadowbrook Motel

The room was quaint and extremely clean. My only complaint was that the room smelled too strongly of cleaner - it was a little overwhelming. Aside from that, it was a fantastic night's stay, and we were happy to find a budget friendly motel that was clean! The motel also features a decent-sized well-kept pool. Kathy helped us over the phone to book the room, and was very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a well-priced place to crash for a night at the shore.

Don't be fooled by the small outside appearance, this was a very nice quaint place to stay for the night. My room was even recently partly updated. The bathroom looked really nice...completely new (except for the shower area- still a little dated, but clean and in perfect working condition). The staff was extremely nice and helpful. And the best part is how affordable to price, and what a great location- Just 5 minute drive to Wildwood and the beach! Count me in as a repeat customer.

I stayed here in August. Kathie was completely lovely and accommodating. I'm sure she would have stayed up all night to make sure that the guests were comfortable. She was that friendly!! My room was really, really clean! It was cozy and the free wifi was a plus. I liked that it was quiet and so close to everything. Kathie was able to steer me to a wonderful and inexpensive place to eat that had a view. I was very, very happy with the price--not greedy, like so many other places.||I will definitely be going back to the Meadowbrook, the best kept secret around the Wildwoods.

We spent a night here during the lighthouse weekend, and while we were pleased with what we found, there is room for improvement.|||| The motel is a '50s style roadside thing, with a house up front where the office is. We were in a wing off to the side, which I think was built later. We liked the neon sign, and the grounds looked pleasant. The owners are nice, or at least the wife, who checked us in. The rate was about $50, and she made sure that my mother-in-law got a room next to ours since we were all in one car. The room was okay, with a clean, comfortable bed, a fridge, and a microwave. The owner is a very very nice old lady with a wonderful southern accent. She was very accommodating. I asked for extra pillows and blankets for my kids and she gave me 3 and 2, respectively. She had coffee, guidebooks, and other small amenities in the office. I can't say enough nice things about her. The room itself left a lot to be desired, though it was mostly clean. The room we were given (9) had a full bed and a twin bed with a small entertainment center that had an old tube tv with direct tv hooked up. There was also a small mini fridge and a microwave who's plug couldn't reach the outlet. There were very few outlets. We wound up unplugging a side lamp to charge the phones.
