Meadowbrook Camping Area

This is an older campground/RV park in a great location, with lots of things to do off site. Sites are fairly spacious, but not as pictured on the website. There is good separation between the campground and RV areas. There is a lovely wetland/pond a short walk away with canoes to paddle. Shower/restroom facility is old, but clean. Unfortunately it is served by a grey water pit that stinks and is not adequately covered, so beware with children and pets. The owner runs a food service. The service is great, the food good, if you're into fried food. Barking dogs are not dealt with. And maintenance staff have a mowing fetish, mowing whether it needs it or not! They will literally mow around your feet while you sit in your chair on your site. I saw it happen! So plan to leave the site da

We've tried many of the sites and go every year. It is a tradition. If you're there on Saturdays they have karaoke by the fire on stage. The arcade could use some new games. It is a bit run down, but it's fun to play and make memories with the whacky pool table and all the bouncy balls you could ever want. We also enjoy the pool which was newly replaced this year. It is always a great time and only minutes from the beach by car.

We needed a place to stay for our bucket list trip to Maine...and I cannot tell you HOW THRILLED we were to find this place! It's absolutely beautiful here! It's peaceful and everyone was kind, friendly, and welcoming! The owners were on point: friendly, informative, helpful, and available to answer questions. They have fresh lobster and clams on site, cook them for you, and within minute they deliver them to your camper!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️!!!! I can 💯 say that this campground is one of my top favorites of all the places we have stayed at!

A great spot if you want something quiet and away from everything! Kinda pricy for a non hookup site. We ordered food our first night and it was ok, again pricy but they delivered it to the site which was good! A nice area, and we enjoyed exploring bath.

This was... was a great place until we had to move from one campsite to another.... we knew this was going to happen and were told it would be no issue. Well... we had to move on a day that we had family in town but had to wait to move until they were good and ready for us to move. Mind you we had stayed there 3 weeks in June and were there for another 15 days in late July and Early August. The spot we were moving to was vacant by 10am and we asked if it was ok for us to move. They said they hadn't started check outs yet. The owner was more than rude with me about moving early. Where in the world has customer service gone??? We finally were able to move at noon. If you choose to stay here, make sure you get the same campsitecfor your entire stay!
