McGregor Inn Motel

Mom and pop place.. very cozy and clean. Tavern across the street easy access good local .. maybe a coffee maker would be nice but there is Scotty's about 2 miles away with good food and coffee.

It's an older, small, no frills motel and I LOVED it. The rooms are small but very well maintained and extremely clean with the basic amenities which include a small fridge with separate freezer and a microwave. I was there for a week and never felt cramped, I would often sit at one of the 2 picnic tables and just check out the nature and watch the local happy hour scene across the street (which was great for a little lunch or snack) and it never got loud even when they had live music.The motel had fresh brewed coffee on by 7am for the coffee drinkers and some donuts or cereal in the office. Gail and Jeff were awesome and would stop whatever they're doing to answer any questions or to give guidance and directions for whatever you're heart desires. Location was great, easy to drop hubby off

Great Motel! We stayed here for our annual trip to Saratoga Race Track and we were very happy! It is only about 10-15 minutes from the track. Everything you could need is on this road from a deli for sandwiches for the track, restaurants, convenience store and Dairy Haus for ice cream which became a nightly thing for us! ||While the rooms are a little small bit that is only due to the fact that there are 2 beds. Even still my husband and i found it plenty big enough for us! The AC worked great and there was a fridge/freezer as well as a microwave all of which are fairly new! The rooms are small but are CLEAN! The owners clean the rooms themselves leaving nothing forgotten and supply the bathroom essentials! Coffee and donuts in the am is a plus and owners, Gail and Jeff are the sweetest! T

Lovely family run motel! The room is a bit small but impeccably clean. TV and Wifi work great. We actually enjoyed our drinks and meal at the Tavern across the road - early before the crowd got there! Road and Tavern were a bit noisy, but by 11pm all quiet, just like owner had promised. Thanks so much: we will be back!!!

My lady friend and I booked a room here for an overnight layover while traveling. It's a charming, historic motel, and the owners, Jeff and Gail are super nice. The room was spotless, the bed comfortable, and everything worked just fine. I will definitely stay here again, given the chance.
