This place is a scam. We packed our truck and packed up for a weekend looking forward to canoeing and paddle boarding. When we showed up to our “cozy cabin” it was cozied up next to a large odorous dumpster. The cabin looked as though it had never been cleaned judging from the cobwebs and dust. Every square inch of the park was packed with an RV or tent, so the lake view promoted was nonexistent. The lake access was a tiny little beach and it was way too overcrowded to enjoy. The place was completely littered with trash everywhere. The bathroom closest to our cabin was boarded up and out of order. I never found another one. We decided not to stay and drive all the way back to Portland. The worst part is the management. Contacting anyone who can give you an actual answer other than no refun

For all the people who think this place is disgusting and horrible please know that it used to be run by my Grandparents and it used to be a clean, friendly, staffed, organized and efficuent establishment with the best chefs. I haven't been there in years and quite frankly I don't think I want to, but it used to be an amazing resort that brought happiness to my entire family and lots of other people. I'm sorry that it's gone so downhill with new leadership, it truly saddens me. It doesn't take much to keep neat and tidy. I understand that running a business is difficult, trust me. But there are many things that are common courtesy. Now granted people like to complain about the most un important things such as the "RV lot has a few good views, but the rest are small gravel lots" reality ch

We pull in the sign Says to go to office to check in closed no one around no other campers no one around. No signs so we call and talked to someone on the phone that wasnt on site. Never saw a camphost or any one for that matter. Ghost town. NOTHING was open the store or ice cream shop just the bar and restaurant for the locals . Garbage can at restaurant were overflowing . But charged resort prices? No one even around to rent anything for the water. Campsite is really uneven and to small for our trailer . We were parked by entrance and there was a pub so lots of car traffic all night. Lots of yelling and noise. No map was given to us. Nothing no one around at all. The lakes beautiful, but the resort needs improvement. Its like parking at a boat launch. Pictures on website need updat

Truly one of the grossest places I’ve ever stayed. This resort isn’t just old— it’s DISGUSTING. The lack of cleanliness is astounding. The trash sat piled up like this the entire time we were there. It just got worse and worse. My daughter was crawling around on our floor in our cabin right after arriving and she had a LAYER of dirt on her. Clearly they do not clean the floors and it makes me wonder what else they skip over in the rooms. The public restrooms would make you nauseous if I posted a photo (no exaggeration) If you’re looking to stay here with your RV, the spots directly on the lake were beautiful. Every other spot you’re crammed into a gravel lot with no view. We left an entire day early because we were so disappointed and over it all. The lake is absolutely beautiful… I

We rented a slip for our boat this past weekend. We have been doing this for 25 years. The cost has gone up so much. It was $60 per day. Since the new company took over, this place is filthy! The floor in the store was so dirty. Ice cream had been spilled and wasn’t cleaned up so everyone tracked through it, for what looked like days. The bathrooms were not clean at all. They used to be so clean. Every single garbage can was overflowing and this was Saturday morning. By Monday morning there was garbage everywhere. Many of the docks in the marina were completely covered with goose or duck poop and covered in flies. I have never seen such a disgusting mess! How very disappointing! Marina members pay a hefty maintenance fee per year and the camp sites and hotel rooms are very expensive. The c
