Maurice’s Campground

I suffered a medical emergency camping here and was rushed out by ambulance. The owners yelled and screamed at my guests asking if this was necessary. When I returned to get my vehicle the following morning, (I still had the site rented) the woman followed me to the site being extremely disrespectful. Yes, an ambulance was necessary. I suffer from SEVERE gastrointestinal disorders. Safe to say, I will never return.

I have been tent camping at Maurice's each summer for years now. The rustic setting and location is excellent ... located directly adjacent to the Cape Cod Rail Trail, only a few short miles to the National Seashore beaches, great restaurants, and the town centers of Eastham and Wellfleet. The campground maintains very clean rest rooms and hot showers. The management has always been very friendly and accommodating.

WHAT A TREAT TO STAY AT Maurice's !!!|I've been staying at Maurice's since I was a child and made my first visit in 1968. Though the Gauthier Family sold Maurice's in 2022, my 2024 Visit was still the same quality as always and the Staff was Friendly, Attentive and Helpful !||For those of you that have not had the pleasure of staying at Maurice's yet, It's a CAMPGROUND with additional Cabins and Cottages. Maurice's is priced accordingly for the amenities offered, which are clearly listed on their website and Welcome Email along with suggestions for what you should bring to enhance your stay. This was my first time visiting the Cape. I've been to Nantucket and The Vineyard but the Cape is a beauty of it's own. The campground was wonderful. Very quiet for so early in the season. The gentleman Jim at the office was very kind and helpful. He made me a hot cup of coffee and helped answer any questions I had. Along with mostly Campers and some RV's the campground offers the most adorable and quaint cabins. They are quite small. I've never seen anything like them and so very cute. The area is directly in front of the Bike Path which travels into town where there is a selection of stores, shops, restaurants and more. Maurice's Campground is a local treasure in Wellfleet MA. Nestled among the tall pines, it's a wonderful place to relax but near to all the beaches, restaurants and entertainment locations. The managers have worked hard to update amenities and added a play area for kids and adults. Come to relax in nature and enjoy the camping experience!
