Very cool experience. Found some really cool fossils but unfortunately no shark teeth. Very nice owners of the park. Be prepared to get wet to gain access to the northern beaches.
Absolutely loved the beach. Secluded with few people. Tons of seashells for the kids to collect. Mostly calm waters for good swimming. The cabins were functional. No AC but the weather wasn't too hot (beginning of June) and the fans and plenty of windows made for nice air movement. This place is a hidden gem I would definitely come back in the future.
Great place tucked away right next to the Chesapeake. We enjoy hunting for shark teeth and just other cool shells, coral, etc. we decided to give this place a try and we certainly enjoyed ourselves. The price per person is $10 which isn’t too bad. It gives you full access to the public beach and a mile of coast line. We spent a little over two hours there and everyone really enjoyed themselves. I will say that I feel the Potomac is a better option if you are focused on shark teeth. That said we got a few and some cool shells. I really recommend this place of you want to enjoy the water and don’t want to travel the whole way to the ocean. This is a great place to visit!
Went for beach access only, though cabins looked rundown. $10 per person is fine but you get what you pay for. Beach was full of shells and hard to walk on or even into the water. Not much sand between the cliffs and water. Also be aware of the jellyfish in the water near the shore. My son got bit by one and we didn’t get a chance to cool off in the water like we were hoping on a hot, sunny day. Found a couple shark teeth that saved the day.
Nice little spot for a day trip. Definitely will be back and want to check out the camping. Do pay attention to the water... lots of jelly fish between spring and summer. Husband did get stunk. But that's a risk at ANY beach or body of water.
