Marriott's Newport Coast Villas

Sadly, Newport Coast Villas is falling apart. Not the rooms themselves since, it was made apparent to us, they are being renovated. But the service and offerings are not worth it anymore and I really hope this isn't happening widespread at Marriott. We were given a renovated room with the absolute worst view for a place like this. We were staying Friday to Monday and asked to be moved multiple times with different people. The only thing they offered us was to move out our current room sunday morning, wait for check in at 4 again to move into the new room for one night. That's absurd. Now I get it, if they don't have rooms there's nothing they can do, but why even offer something like that? Why not give us - loyal Elite timeshare holders for 20+ years - at least a decent ocean view from t

Marriott Newport Coast Villas are a great option if you have a family and need a place with a full kitchen and plenty of space to spread out. The grounds are immaculate. The condo we stayed in was slightly outdated but clean and maintained. We loved that they hosted a St. Patrick's Day 5k for guests the week we stayed. They have lots of great activities for families. The pools were heated in March which was helpful since it was a bit chilly much of the day. Food and drink on site is quite expensive, to be expected at such a hotel. There are plenty of grocery stores and restaurants a short drive away down the hill from the resort. We also enjoyed the trolly that ran from the resort to the beach. Would stay again.

This place is a gem and honestly great value compared to other accomodations available in Newport Beach. Spacious villas that are perfect for families, stocked with pretty much everything you need. My family had a very comfortable stay! On top of that, the grounds are absolutely beautiful. I only wish we stayed longer so we could fully enjoy all the amenities this place has to offer. 10/10 will return and would recommend to others.

This is one of the nicest resorts in the area. The landscaping is well groomed, and cleaning crew aree continuously doing maintenance. Reception is very helpful and attentive. Plenty of staff to expedite line ups. The room we got had unobstructed ocean views. A total bonus. Rooms are spacious and extremely clean. There are plenty of activities inside the resort. Something for everyone. Will definitely be returning.
