Marriott Park Ridge

My husband and I spent one night at this hotel along with our daughter and her family as we all visited the area for a gymnastics tournament. What a fun time we had!!! Despite being under construction, we thoroughly enjoyed all that this hotel has to offer!! It happened to be our 8 year old twins’ birthday weekend and the staff made it so special with free goodies from the little on-site store:) Always free bottled water is a nice perk!! We all ate dinner at the hotel restaurant- food was good to great!! The Cobb Salad was fresh, large and delicious. Kids menu included many items- Mac & cheese, grilled cheese, burgers, chicken tenders (great selection). Breakfast buffet was free for 2 people per room BUT hotel included all 4 kids free too, celebrating a birthday!!! Super breakfas

What a great stay we had this week. The staff was so friendly and nice. The room was small but nice and very clean. No tub, balcony, or couch but fantastic shower. The pool was chilly so not many people were using this facility. We talked to maintenance and he said that was as warm as it gets? The food in this hotel was outstanding. The Irish pub was lots of fun and excellent food. Will be back again and again.

I have been a platinum elite lifetime member for over 30 years. I only stay at Marriott for a reason and it is quality service and rooms. As the room was fine, it was the little things that I noticed that stood out. Example, someone left a bag of garbage outside our room. We stayed only one night, but it was there for at least 10 hours even after the staff was made aware. It is that kind of lapse that, a very longtime and loyal customer, this stuff sticks out like a big red flag. I truly wish I didn't have to write this, but facts are facts. I didn't complain since we where there for a funeral in the family so I didn't want to add drama, but i really hope they improve.

5 stars only because Becca was absolutely AMAZING. She is the customer service whole package by being incredibly helpful, cheerful, friendly yet professional. Just top notch and you can tell she enjoys her work. That being said.... My room had massive water stains covering the ceiling. There was a hole in the popcorn finish about the size of a dinner plate. I was bummed about no room service either. Currently undergoing renovations so I expect some aesthetic changes soon!

Stayed here for a wedding that occurred locally. The construction that was occurring made a maze to find the pub that was on sight(also only opened at 4 on a Saturday :/) so no pregame. The rooms were fine however seemed slightly outdated. Pool area and gym were very nice. For the price of the stay I would probably look for another location if I was in the area again.
