Mariposa Cabin

I just spent 5 nights at the large cabin and it was amazing! Right over the hill behind the cabin is the most amazing view of the mountains. Star gazing was absolutely stunning. There is a lot to do around within minutes of this cabin but yet it is still secluded. I highly suggest visiting Cripple Creek while staying here. They have donkeys that wander the town between Memorial Day and October and the troll Rita is not to far away. If you aren't used to a high altitude then I highly suggest bringing oxygen as this cabin is up high and the altitude sickness was all to real.

My partner booked a stay at this cute little lodge for what I later found out was a proposal vacation! I was a little apprehensive at first but by the end of the day, I was already attached. The space is very clean (which is important to me whenever I stay/sleep somewhere), had plenty of kitchen supplies and amenities, a Roku which allowed us to watch movies at night, a beautiful view of the mountains … My favorite was the bed and giant window that you could watch the birds from. I also loved that it was a short walk away from Crystal Falls trail which was GORGEOUS. Perfect distance from Manitou Springs and Garden of the Gods. Quiet area (even though the neighbors are super close-by) but not too remote! Only complaint was the shower. Very small and unfinished (thankfully we brought sandals

We have stayed at Mariposa Cabin several times and will again later this year. Very cozy and comfortable, in a quiet neighborhood, a great place to relax with all the comforts of home. Great hiking close by and a short drive to Manitou Springs/Woodland Park/Pikes Peak. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time at this cabin!

We had the very best and relaxing time while we were visiting Manitou Springs..Mariposa Cabin was perfect and the surroundings were beautiful. The short hike to the waterfall was lots of fun and the history behind Crystal Falls was even better.. can't wait to visit again! !

This little cabin was perfect in every sense. The location was awesome. I stayed there for 4 weeks and I will definitely come back next summer! I highly recommend the Mariposa cabin.
