Margie B’s Lake Lodge

Margie B’s is adorable! i’ve never seen a cabin so cool. the property is like its own little resort with the hot tub area, then the fire pit area, then down on the dock oh and also the patio under the front porch. Inside is beautiful. 3 bedrooms and 2 living rooms. i loved that i could also do a quick load of my laundry before heading home.

Romantic getaway for one couple or a fun getaway for up to 6 people. Five star, will recommend!!! Margie B’s is a hidden gem.

My wife and I and our five year-old son were fortunate enough to stay at Margie B’s for a couple days while on spring break. To say that the cabin was perfect and the hosts were gracious and accommodating would be an understatement. They went out of their way to make sure our son felt welcome on their property. Burrito the burro was an absolute delight. The cabin is super close to many great hiking/exploration spots in Shawnee National Forest. Our two days went by super fast and we’re already looking forward to returning. Thanks folks!

Pictures do not do this place justice. We were so pleased with everything this place had to offer that we are already planning our next trip back! We unfortunately didn’t see burrito (it was pretty hot when we went) but we had the sweetest welcomer when we arrived! I was so surprised to see the heart of petals on the bed and it added such a loving and thoughtful touch, we appreciated it so much. We were looking for the perfect mommy and daddy getaway and this place was everything we could’ve hoped for!

The cabin is so cute and the decor is so fun. It was perfect for our family of 6 adults. There was plenty of room for everyone. We had fun making s’mores at the fire pit, grilling out, watching the fish and turtles swimming in the lake. MargieB’s is a great place to stay and Tasha and Jerome are perfect hosts.
