Maple Trails Resort

We stayed here with our family and some friends in the middle of July and it was a really pleasant stay. The resort is split into two parts, a lower section with cabins and an upper section with a campground and RV spots & hookups. I did not go to the campground section much, however the lower section did have a swing set & sandbox for kids. The cabins are pretty roomy on the insides and stayed pretty cool. All of the cabins and most of the grounds are shaded by large mature maple trees, and there were several bonfire pits that we relaxed by in the afternoon & evening. The current owner, Mitch, was courteous, accommodating and a pleasure to rent from. Overall we had a great time and I look forward to staying there next time that I can make it up to Boy Lake.

My wife and I arrived to the cabin on our 32nd anniversary, a bouquet of flowers and card met us on the dining room table. I had trouble with a trailer light and mitch picked one up in town and replaced it while my wife and I went fishing. Mitch will make your stay tremendous. Will definitely be going back!

My second year up there, at this resort. Our family has been fishing this lake, year in year out for over 30 years. Wow! the new owners sure changed this poor old shabby resort around. The cabins have all had a new face lift inside. And finally a new wider dock. The old green pool is gone :) ....and on one of the best fishing lakes in the area. We had near limits on the walleyes, and hammered the sunny s, and crappies. Boy Lake is, and always will be our families funnest lake.

Our family stayed at Maple Trails Resort in 2013 and 2014. This resort is under new ownership. The Korsa family have updated the cabins and remodeled one of the cabins into a lodge. The lodge is a great meeting place for all the vacationers to meet and talk. The resort is a great get away from the busy lives we all have. We relaxed in the cabin, went fishing, went for a walk on the various trails and enjoyed the up north atmosphere. We are a planning our family reunion this year at Maple Trails Resort. We would recommend this resort to any one.

My husband and I caught more fish in Boy Lake than anywhere else, ever! The owner, Mitch was super nice and very accommodating! Hope we can go back again soon!
