Maple Lane Resort

Maple Lane resort is our lake home, only we don't have to worry about it when we aren't there! We live outside of Chicago and make the long trip to Maple Lane each summer. We meet my extended family and have a wonderful week of renewing all of our traditions. It's not a fancy place, no tennis courts, no salons, no child-care help. Just nice, neat comfortable cabins with enough space to have some privacy, a decent swimming area, well kept boats and motors and a place to clean your fish. Plus Judd and Barb, who are very warm and accommodating. As long as there is a Maple Lane, we will be there!

We are returning to Maple Lane for the 57th year in the history of our family. This July Tradition has helped us celebrate the events of all of our lives. From two small boys and one middle sister in 1954, we have grown into six siblings, six spouses, 16 grandchildren and now seven great grandchildren and soon to be five spouses for the grandchildren. We ALL have amazing memories of this place; the fishing, the adventures, the memorable storms, the great food, the picturesque sunrises and sunsets, and the laughter, homemade music, bonfire concerts and conversations. ||In many ways this place is a little like homecoming. After personal trips to military service, learning adventures in Europe, Mexico and a dozen other places, this is where we can come and remember each other and how valuable
