Mansion House 1757 Boutique Inn, Restaurant, & Tavern

My boyfriend and I ate here for dinner on 01/17/2026. It was our first time here. We did not stay in a room so we can only speak to the restaurant side. Our server was Janet. She was friendly and nice. It did take a little while to get our order in as she was busy assisting others but once we placed our order, everything was out quickly. For the 2 of us, our bill came to $145.22 before the tip. My favorite item was the dessert. The mansion house cake with compote and salted caramel whipped cream was unique and tasted amazing! We both loved it. My strip steak was prepared how I wanted it but I do think it was a bad cut. It had alot of gristle and fat and honestly difficult to eat. Everything else we ordered was delicious. Cindy and George were great hosts! Very attentive and made sure we had a wonderful stay. Dinner at the restaurant was also the best meal we ate in town. If you appreciate historic homes this place is a must! Our stay for the purposes of exploring Gettysburg was wonderful.

We had a fantastic experience staying and dining at this bed and breakfast! Amazing hospitality, delicious food and beautiful suite. Super close to Liberty Mountain and Gettysburg. This inn is full of history and charm - the whole family loved it.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Mansion House! The room was so clean and cozy! The owners were very friendly and gave recommendations for our time near Gettysburg. I was quite impressed. Breakfast was delicious and everything was so so wonderful! Some things to consider, walls are thin and you ca hear everything! Our neighbors kept us up a bit. However, we eventually just got over it. And it’s about 20 minutes from Gettysburg which was sometimes annoying to drive to. Despite those considerations, should we come this way again, we will be staying here. We felt so blessed by the owners and their hospitality. I would recommend them time and time again. It was the favorite part of our stay!

From the moment we booked, the service was exceptional—they even gave us their personal number the day before and offered to make dinner reservations for us. Every need was met with warmth and professionalism. Chef George deserves a special shoutout for his creativity and care with my vegan diet.
