Mammoth Spring Lodge

The “hotel” sits up on a hill behind the Sonic off US-63. The first thing that I remember walking in to the foyer area was the overwhelmingly strong smell of chlorine emanating from the laundry room! The door to the laundry room was open because the night shift desk clerk was also doing the laundry. ||The 2nd thing was there was no elevator on the premises, so the hotel is not handicap friendly. Theres only 2 floors in the building.||The rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable. That being said we walked into our room at 10:00 and the thermostat had been set to 60*F and it was freezing! Thank goodness we brought our own blankets as they have double sheets and no comforters or quilts.||The shower was amazing and there was plenty of HOT water. This hotel has a MAJOR mold problem. First I booked a specific room online but was given a different room, no big deal, I can adjust! I walk in the room and immediately can’t hardly breathe from the smell of musty mold. Looked around and sure enough, BLACK mold growing above the shower head. So I politely went to the front Desk and asked for a different room. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. I was given another room that had no visible signs of mold, but the smell was just the same. All night my lungs hurt and I had trouble resting. When I got home and unpacked my things, the smell was so strong on my clothing! This is dangerous and a major health concern to your staff and all guest that stay at your facility! Certainly not worth over $200 bucks for 2 nights. Please have this i

They have a wifi router plugged in with no actual internet service and call it “wifi.” Asked about the wifi and they just laugh and shrug it off, made the stay very difficult with no internet. Tv’s only have 2 channels, and only suites have microwaves.

Our room was very clean. I believe they are working on improving. Convenient location for our travels.

excellent service. Clean rooms, and Kelly Tidwell is about as good a hostess as you will find anywhere. Kuddos to her, and the rest of the staff. I dont care how much especially Kelly is being paid, she deserves more!! I will definetely be staying there every chance I am in the area.
